Darlene, donate the chest freezer and get an upright frost free oneπππ
Yes, I have pain in back & rib area from compression fractures.
I use bio freeze & heat for pain.
I just got out the hospital and I had pneumonia as well. I was wheezing for about a month then one day sudden chest pain through my shoulder blade. I had never experienced that type of pain before. I was glad I went to the ER because they found a small mass between my lungs. I'm waiting to get the biopsy to see if it's the MM or another firm of cancer. Praying it's neither. Thanks for sharing.
To be honest my pain changes so much that I can't figure out what is actually a new pain issue or just something resurfacing. My thoracic area hurts alot but its not always from my T4 lesion but from how I sleep or how I do things that may cause upper body pain. Like Darlene I'm always doing too much or lifting something the wrong way or too heavy that used to not bother me. I'm having to reposition my body or take extra precautions to make sure I don't hurt or hurt myself. I scrubbed my shower about a month ago and I paid a costly price for that. All of the upper arm motions affected my whole left side of my body, I could barely move my arm for 2-3 weeks also affecting my breast muscles. All because I scrubbed my shower.. All I know is everything I used to do takes me 2x as long to do because I have to take extra precautions. I hope everyone tries to remember all these little things to make your days ahead a bit less tiring, painful and complicated.
Rib pain that radiated through my back and entire chest cavity is the ONLY symptom I had (started August 2023) ..... Insist on an MRI with contrast of the entire spine....that is how they found the mass on my thoracic spine which was MULTIPLE MYELOMA (November 19,2023).
