My bone pain in my calves feels similar to shin splints and they are sore to touch.

My bone pain came on fast when I was in the hospital after a treatment. It’s the only time I cried. 1000 mg of Tylenol was given for relief and I never had it again……thank goodness. I definitely knew it wasn’t muscle pain.

That is a good question. How do you discern the difference between bone pain and muscle pain? To me, if I never got MM I would have never known about bone pain. It was only after the PET scan showed activity in three vertebrae that I knew it was bone.

Perhaps others can offer help.
