I am 74 years old and was diagnosed in August of 2022. I have IgG Lambda t 11:14, 1q gain, 17p del p53 high risk features. I have been on Dara, velcade, revlimid and dex but it is no longer working. My MM specialist at Mayo wants me to start Venclexta, which is an oral med approved for leukemia patients and is off label for MM patients.
It looks like there are a lot of bad side effects. I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this drug and if so, how it affected you. Thanks

It is the same drug. Can you tell me how the person you know is doing? Thanks for responding.

I know someone on venetoclax. Is that another name for venclexta or is it a different drug all together?

I have just stopped vanclexta because after it being a great working druq for about 2 and a half years, it is no longer effective for me because I have another type of blood cancer also, and it does no longer let the drug be effective for me! You should try it! It is a chemo. There are effects for taking it, but you can learn to adapt!
