Hi Ruben - Before I made the changes I mentioned above, I was dangerous to drive. Getting off Gaby, Cymbalta, and Lyrica lifted a huge fog (was only on one at a time over the course of 18 months, as we tried different solutions for my neuropathy).

Then adding Ritalin added the means of hours of focus as I continue to study nutrition and Case Studies about MM. I'm a programmer and electronics design - keeping a focused thought over extended periods time is critical. For me that's hours, days, weeks, months and even years. Ritalin has given that back to me.

Two years ago, Induction left me in a wheel chair - I've fought back and pieced my life back together. I spend plenty of time at the gym and plenty studying about MM - other people's results to find what works for them.

I'm far better off than any of my Docs were able to advise. They look at my results and simply say - Good Job, Keep it up. They just don't know how to help us.

Earlier this week I met with my Onc - a 3 month follow-up. He had a young, Onc with him, just out of school. My Onc, introduced us, saying to him - Listen to what he has to say (meaning me) - we spent over an hour discussing what I've been doing and how I've managed - I've documented this at my Story @Larr2. We don't have to live with their limited understanding of how to recover past MM treatment.

I've been very fortunate that my GP and Onc provide me the Meds that I request to let me work on improving my life. I've been successful where they don't have a plan.

Pretty good suggestions on the meds. But alas, brain fog aparently is par for the course. So I try/try to review my actions. I dont cook at all, and if I do I let my wife know. Wish u the best.

If you’re on things like Gabapentin, Cymbalta or Lyrica, they all cause very bad brain fog. Phase them out slowly over a few weeks (can’t be stopped immediately).

I use 400mg magnesium glycinate as a replacement.

I also use 5mg oxycodone daily for neuropathy pain.

Then I take 10mg Ritalin 3 times daily - works great to overcome the brain fog. I’m able to focus on projects for hours.
