Jesusismyboss, I will let you know how I do on darzalex FASPRO, pomalyst and dex
My first line of treatment was velcade, cytoxin and dex and velcade was my maintenance drug until I was put on ninlaro.

Thanks Donna for the information. I will be getting all the premeds you listed and will need to say at the clinic for 6 hours my first shot. I am hoping for a great response and not a lot of side affects. Glad you are doing will in this regimen. I too will probably wear a mask when I go out.

Patricia1952 I hope darzalex gets your numbers down and you go in remission.

I have been spoiled with my past treatments so will need to get in the weekly mode for awhile. My wish is for everyone to go into remission and there is a cure for mm around the corner!

Hi Cat, I've been on Darzalex faspro since it was FDA approved. I was on Darzalex IV infusion before that. I started October of 2017, before my transplant. I had to restart Darzalex after my transplant. It's weekly for 8 weeks, biweekly for 8 weeks, then monthly. I was on Pomalyst 4 mg before transplant. Now I'm on Pomalyst 2mg, 21 out of 28 days. I took dexamethasone for about 5 years. I tapered myself off the dexamethasone a couple of years ago. My regular oncologist says I can stay off as long as my numbers stay stable. This protocol has kept me in good control. My Specialist says that being on the same protocol for over 6 years is unheard of with 17p deletion. I do have side effects. The Pomalyst causes constipation. I have to take Senna s 2 twice daily. I also take Metamucil daily. The fatigue is pretty bad. I have to make myself exercise to keep it from getting worse. The Darzalex will lower your IgG levels so you will have to be extremely vigilant to avoid infections. I have to wear a mask at church, grocery store etc. You have to be premedicated before the Darzalex shot. Usually Benadryl, dexamethasone, tylenol, Singular, Pepcid. They might make you hang out at the clinic for awhile after the first shot. Then you should be okay with subsequent shots. Prayers you do well and have a great response πŸ’•πŸ’–πŸ™

I just finished my 21 days of polimist and Darzalex faspro once a month
All went good. Get 1 MG of polimist. Will not know how it is working until end of month. My regular doctor is on vacation. Glad to hear from you and good luck

The Dex kept me up at night. I was not able to sleep while taking it. I stayed up all night one night a week.
