Fasting
I saw an article about the benefits of fasting done with cancer patients. Anyone else see this?
I was fasting before I was diagnosed in June this year . Can’t do that now have to eat because of all the medication I try to do two meals a day and fruits and nut in between but with the medication and being home not working anymore I eat because I get bored sometimes
Thank you. Very informative info. I appreciate.
A 24 hour fast will reset the gut it says. Where 70% of your immune system lives. A 72 hr fast has stem cells flooding your system. It sounds pretty wild. Fast like a girl (book) was given to me by a nurse. Even a fast where you eat dinner early and breakfast later seems to work well. Burning fat, not sugar. I’d love to find the study they did with cancer patients.
I have been reading about fasting as well. Just eat during a few hours during the day. It's supposed to help with insulin resistance.
I’m learning a lot. Fascinating stuff. 70%. Who knew?
