Has Anyone Been In Remission And Still Can’t Work And Is On Social Security Disability? Thanks For Any Responses, Replies Would Be Awesome
I applied for SSI and as soon as I answered a few questions it automatically took me to SSDI. I filed the application on line and a couple months later was awarded SSDI. Pretty easy
Thank you
I was on disability from my job in 2017. When that ran out I was able to get on SSDI. I was accepted right away. A lady at the Social Security office helped me. I was very grateful. 💗🥰
Thank you Donna, Paul and Donal for the info! @A MyMyelomaTeam Member, I am sorry to hear about your kidneys I hope something can be done for you!
I am 66 years old and have had MM since 2021. I was approved SS disability but the MM trashed my kidneys and I have also been on dialysis. I have been in remission a year and now my disability turned into normal retirement SS. I dont know if the kidney issue wasnt there if I would still qualify or not. A lot of it depends how your Doctor responds to the SS claim
