It has been 6 months since my femur broke and MM was diagnosed. My MM numbers are back in the normal range and next month I'll be on the maintenance dose of Revimid but my leg is still very sore and I'm still needing a cane when I walk. It seems to me that it should be getting better than it is.

One of our members had a broken femur. Marcia’s story still appears on our feed.

No but my hip shattered and was replaced as 5 days later the other one was replaced due to it having lesions and being unstable. I also have lesions in my ribs but not issues yet. I’m on monthly sometimes infusions. Hugs

Lola,
I was on crutches for a year after badly spraining my ankle. Healing took a lot of my patience. I’m sorry you are still suffering. 💕 MM is different. It weakens the bones and the bones may not heal as quickly as they ordinarily would. Are you on Zometa or a bone building drug?
