Fragile Skin On Forearms & Hands

A little fatigued & itchy from Velcade injection. Has anyone found a cream that helps with “thin/fragile” skin on forearms & hands. I continue to bruise & bleed easily.

I wonder if moisturizers would help. I'm always getting cuts and puncture wounds on my arms and hands. Plus I take Eliquis for blood clots; the wounds bleed for a while before they stop. Nothing serious, though.
I don't know if the thin skin is just because I'm older, or if my treatments have something to do with it, too.

There are several lotions and ointments you can try. Lubriderm, Eucerine are good. Aquaphor is greasy like vaseline but it works. Cetaphil doesn't seem strong enough. Amazon sells protective sleeves to protect your arms when working outside or in your garage 💕🥰

I was on a high Corticosteroid for a couple of years and got thin/ fragile skin. They tested for DHEA in my adrenals, since steroids affect DHEA. I had none. I’m now taking a DHEA supplement (5 mg) and it’s helping a lot. I don’t know if Dex causes this or you are taking any steroids.
