I just got my labs back. Kappa free light chain is 13.66, lambda free light chain is 3.17 & kappa/lambda ratio is 2.63. I am also in stage 5 with Kidney disease. I will be seeing a Hematology Dr the end of June. Should I be worried about my numbers?

Your Kappa free chain is within normal limits. Your Lambda free chain is slightly low, causing your ratio to be slightly high. I’m use to seeing high numbers which cause concerns. Normal to low kappa and lambda numbers may be less of a concern to most.. Hope this helps. Let us know what your oncologist says.
Approx Limits:
Kappa 3.3-19.4 mg/L
Lambda 5.71-26.3 mg/L
K/L ratio 0.26-1.65

Rely on the advice of your various medical professionals to interpret your "numbers" and to advice as to medications and treatments. I will keep you in my prayers. 😇 🙏
