I still took all the premeds with Darzalex until about a year ago. I've been on it since 2017. I stopped the dexamethasone last May. Maybe you stopped the premeds too soon? I still take Tylenol, Pepcid and Claritin before my Darzalex shot. I take Benadryl the night before and the night of the shot. Check with your doctor. I don't want you to not be able to take your medication. 💗🥰🙏

I can't drive on Benadryl either. I do okay if I take it the night before though. I hope you do well 🥰🙏💜

Hi I too take Dexamethasone, benedryl and Tylenol an hour before my injection. I wonder why you don’t have to take any premeds…. Let us know what you find out!

I get the cutaneous injection after the clinic gives me Tylenol and Benadryl and has me wait for 1 hour before injection. At first it was every week and now it’s every other week. Never felt congested from it.

The first time I had the Darzalex intravenously for 6 hours. Midway, I started to get congested and it felt like an allergy attack coming on. After awhile it got better and didn’t happen again for the next 7 treatments.
