Can Anyone Share What Type (if Any) Of Orthopedic Procedures You Had Treating Bone Damage Acquired Due To MM.

My husband’s biggest problem that interferes with everyday life is low back pain. He has had multiple vertebrae and rib fractures, which have all healed. He had one Kyphoplasty early on before he was actually diagnosed with MM, which actually led to MM diagnose. Have tried diagnostic facet injections without any success. Now in acupuncture. Have been on multiple opiods which provide some relief, but have their own set of issues.

I had Kyphoplasty on 4 of the 8 vertebral fractures which improved my pain and mobility significantly. Before having procedure I was prescribe Fentanyl patch that relieved my pain at least 80-90%. I took and still take Linzess for the constipation. NONE of the oral meds did anything for my back pain. My pain is so much better now I just take mild NSAID as needed. The naturopathic Dr gave me Eupatorium perfoliatum pellets for bone pain they help me. Ask you Dr for alternatives. Pain control equals improved quality of life.
