Joe Tippens Protocol
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Is anyone using the Joe Tippens Protocol…

Is so, what was your condition when you started it (such as Stage, percentage bad plasma, original diagnosis or after one or more relapses, etc)?

Did it work?

Why that path (such as others failed)?

What specifically are you taking - items, doses, frequency, etc.?

Problems or side effects?

Simply doing research in the event of a future relapse (MRD- at this time).

Thanks

Larry,
There are so many parasites and natural ways to treat them. I don’t think I would take something that’s not natural. In China 75% of people who ate 1/4 cup of pumpkin seeds eliminated parasites in just one day. The acid in the seeds paralyze the bugs so they’re easier for the body to expel. Sipping wormwood tea 3 times daily clear them in 2 weeks. The probiotic Saccharomyces boulardii has been shown to cure 78% in 15 days. It stimulates the immune system in the gut, which has anti parasitic effects. Garlic is an antiparasitic. 2-3 raw cloves a day eliminates parasites in 2 weeks. High fructose corn syrup and sugar promote parasite growth. All this I read in an magazine article in Woman’s World. Tax Bhatia, MD has a book called The 21 Day Belly Fix. Beware of pre-washed lettuce, sushi, undercooked meat, water from an unknown source. One item that I thought was important, it said “Up to 90% of women over 50 have various species of worms in their intestines.” Yuck! I’m eating garlic!

Not to throw cold water on hope, but beware of protocols not already in practice at respected cancer centers, e.g. Dana Farber, M.D. Anderson, et al. Many of these are charlatans preying on scared cancer patients. Recall the apricot pit treatment breast cancer patients went to Mexico for, only to end up being lead poisoned? Remember Lydia Pinkham’s and all the other snake oils?
Buyer beware!😢

I really wouldn’t do anything that my oncologist didn’t give the “stamp of approval to”.
I am currently in remission but am due for a follow up visit with my oncologist next week.
I think, just think that if you were to proceed with a treatment your oncologist hasn’t approved of and your MM returns; your oncologist could possibly refuse to treat you!

Hi Tim - Quite Interesting about Strontium. Reading about it it can help with the osteoblast operation (building bones). What type of strontium and what amount do you take. There's the citrate and renelate versions.

If Strontium and K2 can replace Xgeva and Zometa, that's fantastic. There's plenty of reported cases on this Forum of jaw death due to long term use of X & Z as well as plenty of bone pain. I got a bone density scan this year - only very mild osteoporosis. I had 6 months of Xgeva before I stopped all Meds. Last July, I had plenty of bone pain while exercising at Planet Fitness - so much so, that I requested a PET/CT last Aug - it was fine as regards my ribs and spine - found a benign left arm (humerus) lesion.

I've been taking calcium+K (viactive), K2, D3 and magnesium citrate (400mg - completely solves constipation from my oxycodone 5mgx4), also various supplements of little importance such as pre/pro/post-biotics, multi-vitamins, etc.

5 compression fractures - that had to be a very hard time to deal with. I had one fracture of my L4 , causing a pinched nerve - it was extreme pain. My kyphoplasty resolved most of it - still slight pinching of my L4 nerve but not enough to warrant surgery.

The items to improve your immune system - any idea if they help. Any idea of the levels of your IgA, IgM, IgG - are they within normal or still below due to treatment - are you still getting treatment Meds ?

Thanks for all of your details.

Hi Pb - thanks for all this info about natural solutions for parasites. Sounds much better than another poison (Panacur).

Great info
