I had teclistamab procedure in January. In hospital for 2 weeks to monitor any side effects. In summary, my light chains went from 240 to 25 in two weeks, and are now at 0.19! An amazing result. An injection every 2 weeks. No side effects. Now looking for bone marrow to produce red and white cells and platelets again.
I just listened to an an infonet on Car T. It was very informative. Go to BMTinfonet.org.
That’s was going to be my next treatment option.
I had 5 lines of therapy, last 2 were not working well. I went down pretty quickly, low blood count and kidneys were damaged. I went back to Cy-bor-d 2 time a week my light changes when from 1200 down to 324 in 3 weeks. So it professing in the right direction. I was a death’s door they were shocked it turned around so quickly.
I had a car-t cell procedure october 31st 2022. I had a rugged reaction ..was in the hospital 5 weeks...am still in recovery. A slow process but chemo free and cancer free for 5 months. Pretty amazing!😁
I had Car-T in October. I am in a trial for newly diagnosed MM. I am MRD negative. I had some side effects like Neuropathy and I ended up doing Plasma Exchange to help lesson those side effects. Praying for long remission.
