Hi John, I wish I could take naproxen or ibuprofen but can't because of kidney damage from MM. I can take acetaminophen and if that doesn't work, I have 'scripts for morphine and oxycodone.

John I’m so sorry that you’re experiencing pain. I tore my intercostal muscle Friday over my right ribs. They gave me 2 injections of Dilaudid while I was getting treatment. Relieved the pain for almost 24 hours but today I’m feeling it w 20 x 2 oxycodone advil and Tylenol. Been up since 5 am.

I understand being tired of medication is it working to relieve your pain? So many limitations being on painkillers. I won’t drive.

I used too take T3’s until they quit working so now I take Hydro Morphine every six hours and Muscle&body ache every four hours and it does a good job but my left shoulder is really hurting and goes crunch crunch when I move it and my GP says just keep moving it so I will mention it to my Oncologist next appointment.

John be sure to ask your oncology team. Ken was told no Advil. He was allowed Tylenol 3

There is Fentanyl patches but they can be addictive.
