I have Gabapentin on hand for when my neuropathy flares up. Never had a problem with it. Works great for me.

I couldn't take it. Never worked so doctor switched me to lyrica.

I took gabapentin and it gave me delusions, I was seeing things and saying crazy things, Good thing I was in the hospital when this happened they took me off right away. My Daughter had come to visit me and I was acting all goofy so she asked if i was given something new and sure enough it was the Gabapentin, no more for me!🙂

Hi Dawn2 - how much Lyrica per dose and times daily for your neuropathy?

Does it make you drowsy?

I’m getting 75mg Lyrica twice daily, plus 5mg quick release Oxycodone four times daily. This has my neuropathy just under control.

I’m thinking about requesting more Lyrica - maybe 75mg x 4 in hopes to drop or reduce the Oxycodone. I need to be able to drive, be alert and function well. I’m able to do so with my current meds.
