does anyone take the generic form of revlimid ( lenalomide) just received that, I'm not understanding what generic form mean

Hi Samar, I've been taking it a few months and feel no difference in taking it. Same side effects as with the Name brand Revlimid. Was told by both oncologist and the Specialty Pharmacy that it would not hinder or change my maintenance treatment.

I have been taking Lenalidomide for a couple of months now. My understanding is that Revlimid and Lenalidomide are identical.

I am on the generic for maintenance, and have had no new issues. It is less expensive than Revlimid, but still a very expensive drug.

Samar the genetic version is cheaper than the Revilimid.

Yes. Same as Rev. I nolonger am taking it for maintenance now using only Dara infusions monthly as part of my clinical trial
