I do Home health Physical therapy for a living. I am contemplating on returning to work. I just went through SCT and finished my 100 day isolation. I am taking Revlimid as a maintenance therapy. I am unsure of the risks' mostly due to frequent exposure to infection. I am not really able to control the settings of the home's I enter. Any advice?

A very tough question.I asked my MM specialist this question since I am an RN as well. I asked her if I do the SCT I wouldn’t want to work with sick pts especially if I have no immunity since all the immunization will be wiped out. I don’t need a SCT right now since I am responding to treatment and standard risk. If you end up working I would double mask and extreme hand hygiene. Or can you do anything administrative rather that touching pts? I would be very paranoid. May LTD for the year till you get your shots. Good luck.
