Does anyone know a less expensive alternative? It is to prevent pneumonia in patients undergoing myeloma treatment.
Thank!

I took Bactrim DS for 2 years. Are you allergic to sulfa?

Hi Bobby, My girlfriend utilizes a monthly treatment of 300mg pentamidine delivered by nebulizer for pneumocystis prevention. I don't know the cost differential or if it would be appropriate in your case. Good luck.
