Cost Of Revlimid
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

If you take Revlimid, please read and respond. I was advised by CVS specialty drugs that the generic version is out of stock (it is not in stock anywhere), and don’t know when or if they will have generic. My co-pay on private part D Drug plan went from $1000 to $3450. Please advise if you have any info.

Depending on your income, you may qualify for free revlimid from the manufacturer. That worked for me after paying thousands, Celgene provided the medicine for free. I believe it is now made by Bristol Meyers now. Try contacting them. I worked with a very nice lady to complete the process.

I posted a while ago about the Bristol Meyers patient assistance program.it’s free for Revlimid! No one on Medicare should have to pay anything unless you make more than 180,000 per year
It’s worth looking in to. I am not sure but it’s hard to navigate this site

In 2024 the extra 5% additional copay goes away. If on Medicare Part D you only pay deductible and the copay which is close to $8,000 by itself. In 2025 that goes away and the max we will have to pay is $2,000 for the entire year! Thank heavens!

RR, about the Revlimid. I took it for 4 years had good results. If your income is not to high there are grants out there to help with your co-pays. Check out WWW.revlimidgrants, go to www.Leukemia/Lymphomagrants, go to
www.Hopewell grants. Ask your doctor's nurse or your doctor who provides grant monies for your drugs. Ask the social worker through your hospital. call (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators), (BMS Oncology). Contact Celgene Patient Support (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators) or www.CelgenePatientSupport.com. Clegene is who either manufactures Revlimid or directs it. There are others out there as well. Ask lots of questions!!!!!!

I can’t emphasize enough that you look into the grants that are available to help with the co-pay on Revlimid. Ask at your oncologist’s office if the have a grant co-ordinator. If they do, that person will be a big help to you. If not, you may have to do the research yourself. I see you have been given lots of references above. I have been on grant assistance since the very beginning (almost 18 months now) and I have never had to pay for Revlimid.
