Gisela-You have bigger worries than your partner. We are sll different and apparently the mask bothers him. That's ok. Don't go next time. When he comes home after a couple of cocktails and hops in bed, just put your mask on snd remind him that he may be carrying a virus from the party! ;)

When I was working, I had to travel a lot to hospitals to teach computer systems. I was younger and very healthy. Because we worked in hospitals, we HAD to get flu shots. I had been vaccinated and got the flu anyway while I was at a hospital. I was soooooo sick!!! Flying home being that sick was torture, I honestly thought I was going to die. So I NEVER want to get the flu and I certainly don't want RSV or covid. I'm not sure how I would handle an insensitive partner like that. I'm pretty strong minded and usually just say it like it is. I'd be single I think. My family all wear masks to help protect me - and I just stay away from the ones that won't. To protect myself, I sit in an infusion room to get IVIG transfusions once a month. I always wear a mask. If anyone berated me for trying to stay healthy, I'd be done with them.

Gisela we often wear masks when we see our grandkids. I turned down an invitation to a house party. Music is a central part of the evening and I knew the crowded room would be too risky. The hosts totally understood .
I am part of a church choir and our group sings with surgical masks.
Take care💕
