How Many Of You Are In Remission From Multiple Myloma . Are You Still Taking A Monthly Infusion? What Drug? If You Stopped How Long Ago?

I have been in remission over a year and have been taking monthly infusions of Darzelex but recently I ran across an article describing the side effects of Darzelex and I have many of them. I have decided to stop Darzelex in order to build my immune system.

I am in remission. SCT in September 2021. No treatment at this time. I have labs every month and see local oncologist every 3 months. All praises to God.

Hello Marge!
On September 27, 2022, my doctors told me that I was in complete remission and cancer free!
I was released and now I go every two months to check my immune system.
I have been told I do not need any monthly infusions! The ABECMA CAR-T-CELL TRANSPLANT program is a one and done transfusion!
But I take a cancer preventative medication! It is called prayer and Faith in JESUS CHRIST! Isaiah 53:5 “But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.”

I had my SCT in June 2022 and are now in full remission. I take Revlimid 3 weeks each month and a Dara infusion biweekly which then goes to once monthly for 2 years. It’s a clinical trial which hopes to stop the need for maintenance drugs.
