I sent all my friends who encouraged and support me with a beautiful thank you note in a Thanksgiving card. I also crocheted each one a winter scarf. I went to the post office two weeks ago to mail them to New Jersey, Maryland and Wisconsin the rest were of my friends are all locals. They were so appreciative and surprised. One of my dear friends passed away before I finished her scarf. I’m heartbroken. I decided to give it to her daughter. It was a purple scarf. Her daughter called to thank me and tell me she loved it and that purple is her favorite color. I was so happy, it was like a sign that her Mom told me to use purple yarn out of all the colors of yarn I had. My friend had be going to mass every day for me and praying novenas for me. Its so sad, she wasn’t sick. She developed a terrible headache and talking making no sense. She had a brain hemorrhage and was gone in 10 hours. I’m devastated. I’m the one with cancer and she was praying for and passed away in a flash. Her work on earth was done. Thank you all for listening. I’m so thankful for my family especially my husband, my better half. God bless you all. Wishing you all a Blessed Thanksgiving.

Too all the people who have been abandoned or are alone on this MM journey I feel so heartbroken that you have too go through this alone. I would be lost without my wife and family who have been supporting me from being diagnosed and I always tell them how much I appreciate all that they do for me. They say it’s no big deal but too me it’s a big deal.

I've been a chef/baker my whole life,I ask what's their favorite meal or dessert and I make them and do the dishes too, we have always been close and have many friends so I make big batches of chili, chowder or beef stew and share

I take the time to say THANK YOU! as often as possible. I do my best to offer them encouragement in their own trials. I make sure we talk about them and their lives and not spend all their time on me. And give small gifts from time to time. My family and friends have been a HUGE blessing. My husband has truly been Faithful and extremely supportive ❤️ of me during this time. God has been extremely kind to me in surrounding me with loving family and friends who make themselves available as necessary.

LouiseBailey, is he working? Can you get health insurance through his job and money for your son? I am sorry to hear he abandoned you and your child. You live in New York, correct? It should be easy to have Social Services track him down.
