His collection is being done using peripheral veins. The aim was to collect 12 million cells in 4 collections, but he has yielded only 6.5 million cells in the first three days of collection. We are not expecting a miraculous harvest today
He has been told to come for harvesting on day 5 (November 07) also. The… read more

Hey NK, you shoukd ask the doctor, but I don't think it's anything to worry about moving forward. It sounds like he will have enough for 1 transplant. Which hopefully is all he will need anyway. I was given high dose Cytoxan to help with mobilization. I still don't know how that works. I was also given Mozibil to help. I got enough for two transplants in two days. I hope he gets enough today. Harvesting was rough. I was so glad to have that over. It is worth it though. Love Donna. Why did he get CDE induction? Just curious

@A MyMyelomaTeam Member (Updated) I collected 10 million cells in a little over two hours. That was it for me. They used 1/3 of them for my transplant, and froze the rest.

@A MyMyelomaTeam Member No, I haven't. Just the one SCT in February of 2021. Just came out of remission and on new meds in the last month. My transplant only lasted 18 mo. I have IgA kappa with markers of 1q and t(4;14). Harder to keep in check. We relapse often.
