Pee Problems
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I was diagnosed in March and I have some liver back issues. Spinal stenosis and bulging discs. Waiting on approval for hip mri. At some point during all this I have become incontinent. And I don’t mean a little. I stand up or get up in the night and my bladder empties. Thank goodness for heavy duty pads. I’m trying to figue what started this. Any imput. The docs kinda blow it off.

They should not be taking your incontinence lightly since it could be related to your spine, neurological problems. The cause needs to be investigated and addressed. Love Donna

I think the docs could show some compassion. A friend got help from a physiotherapist. She does not have MM

My neurosurgeon explained why it’s happening but I have 2more spinal mris beginning of December before they do anything on my back so if I need surgury it may fix it. I have a lot of apts I really don’t want to add more. Hugs

I hate to admit this, but I am also having problems. I usually just need extra padding on long walks especially when there are no clean bathroom facilities. A urologist could probably help, but I get overwhelmed with all the appointments I already have. I don't want surgery and certainly don't want to take more pills. Hopefully exercise and weight loss will help a little. I have read that Pomalyst causes urinary issues too 🤫
