For The Men, Do Anyone Suffer From Severe Groin Pain From All The Way In His Back To Front?
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone experienced severe groin pain. Without going into to much detail, my husband has severe pain radiating from his back all the way to his groin. No one can tell us what’s causing it. He’s on all this darn pain medication that’s not doing him any good. He take 200 mg of slow release Tramadol, 15mg morphine, Flexerill at bed time to be able to sleep at all. I’m tired of seeing him in all this pain. His myeloma is in check. So if it’s not tge myeloma they just keep sending him from one… read more

I've had some groin pain recently (last few months anyway). It started as what I thought was jock itch and a dermatological issue. It progressed to more of an internal issue and was determined to be a prostate irritation. I am taking Flomax for the prostate and that is better. I still have the burning skin sensation which no one yet has diagnosed. I've tried various ointments, etc., but no visible irritation and no solution yet. A bit painful to sit sometimes. Still working with a few doctors to get that fixed. Probably not related to what others talked about.

I had a pathological fracture to my pelvis that was horrific. After about three months of treatment the pain subsided because the Myeloma was being destroyed. I also had three featured ribs caused by the cancer which have also healed. I know the horrific pelvic pain but I don’t know your husband’s cause for the pain unless it’s his Myeloma causing a pathological fracture.

I have intermittent back/groin pain from L5 failed fusion. The Myeloma certainly aggravates the issue. It has been years this way but can't have it dealt with for a while.
Good luck in your quest for answers! - Greg

I’m having hip and groin pain. Need a walker right now. I also have spinal stenosis and bulging disc. Nothing shows up on hip X-ray so my palliative care doc wants me to have a hip mri. He thinks maybe the mm is attacking my hips. Prayers for an answer
