I bought a little beach tent for my new little grandson when my daughter comes to visit. Great way to keep me out of the sun at the beach as well.

I found that if I use a large cup or glass and use a large straw like ones for smoothies or shakes, it is easier to drink more water. I usually drink a lot of bottled water but somehow this makes me drink more.

I think lots of water is ideal. Don't overstay your time in the sun. I think certain medications don't favor too much sun exposure

hydrate hydrate hydrate. Keep it simple, wear loose clothing, use ice packs on the back of your neck and if possible, stay in air conditioning.

Drinking lots of fluids is the key and not getting out when the sun is the hottest.
My husband likes the Ensure Clear Apple drink and I can get him to drink that if he won't drink any more water. Wearing a hat to protect your head and face is also important. There are also some shirts made by Habit that I found at Sam's that protect you from the sun and are light enough to help with the heat. 😘
