What Are Your Top Tips For Managing Myeloma In The Summer Heat?

I don't have the heat problems that a lot of states have. It has gotten up to 80 in the last few days, but it's cool in the morning and at night. We do, however, have biting bugs, so it's a trade-off. When it does get into the higher numbers,😉 I get sluggish, so I drink more water. I used to go through 90+ temperatures in CA but the eighties here in AK feel like those 90+ temps. It's all relative to what you are used to. Just stay hydrated and don't overdo outdoors. Over-doing comes faster in our condition....MM

I bought a little beach tent for my new little grandson when my daughter comes to visit. Great way to keep me out of the sun at the beach as well.

I found that if I use a large cup or glass and use a large straw like ones for smoothies or shakes, it is easier to drink more water. I usually drink a lot of bottled water but somehow this makes me drink more.

hydrate hydrate hydrate. Keep it simple, wear loose clothing, use ice packs on the back of your neck and if possible, stay in air conditioning.

I think lots of water is ideal. Don't overstay your time in the sun. I think certain medications don't favor too much sun exposure
