MRI Refusal

I have Multiple Myeloma and have been on Darzalex/Revlimid/Dexamethasone for over a year now. My Myeloma numbers have dropped into the normal range so we have decided to drop my Revlimid dose from 25mg to 10 mg and monitor.

It has been suggested to me that I get a full body MRI with DWI images to ascertain if there is any Myeloma bone involvement even though my Myeloma numbers are good. This makes sense to me, I haven’t had any imaging done for over a year.

Are you having any bone pain? Your doctor might have to add to the order to get them to okay it💕

Just listening to a podcast on Medicare advantage- you can appeal it as a very high % of denials are incorrect -

I am not on Medicare as my husband still works and the university has bc/bs - PPO for us. Talk with your doc’s staff member who deals with billing- often depends on how they code it.

My out of pocket was $0, period, but I have grants to pay for the Revlimid and Darzalex. How much is your premium for your supplemental plan? How much is your deductible?
