Is anyone else disillusioned about the qualifying factors leading to getting <a data-ga="smart-link_click" href="/treatments/abecma">ABECMA</a> therapy? My oncologist recommends that I get the therapy. He contacted the top doctor at Siteman Cancer ctr here in st louis, missouri. He was sent all my records and it was determined that my multiple myeloma is being at a stalemate (kept from getting worse or better) by infusions of Impliciti and pomylidimide(25 days/30). So I'm doing good according to this other doctor. I have to get much worse before I'm considered for <a data-ga="smart-link_click" href="/treatments/abecma">ABECMA</a>. We are always looking for cure. One is found, but treatment not given. This irritates me to no end. I understand the word "cure" isn't used often, but 97% success rate is a cure to me. I have 3rd opinion scheduled with another oncologist now, but I'm prepared to fly to another city if need be. I'm one of the younger people that has multiple myeloma. I would still have a better life if cured. All those people that have raised money for cures should be incensed over a cure found, but treatment not being given. Hi, Donna Abecma is the CAR-T I received March 2022, and it worked well for me. I feel bad for the young person who stated that they are waiting for her to get worse before she can get the treatment. She needs to get another opinion. Sometimes you have to take your health in your on hands.

Hi Donna, I anticipate they will very soon. First, they have to het through all the FDA and insurance red tape, because sadly, everything is about the bottom line dollar.
