Wendym, There are lots of things that can alter your sleep habits with Myeloma. Especially if you are on Dex. Have you tried Chamomile Tea, a hot bath and a sleeping pill such as Melatonin or Ambien before bedtime. Activity during the day, limiting naps, avoiding Caffeine can help.
I use to work nights for many years, sometimes even 20 years later I revert back to being awake at night and sleeping in the day. It is hard to change a circadian rhythm but the natural one for a human is to sleep at night so try to set a bedtime routine for yourself. Love, Marcia 🌸

Going for walks helped a lot, limiting screen time and food in the hour or so before going to bed would've probably been helpful now looking back

Thanks everyone...I was on Ativan in the hospital and slept OK. I stopped taking the Ativan when I got home because I was afraid I was becoming dependent on it. I am using 5 mg Melatonin time release and it seems to help. Been walking during the day too.
