Sie, That sounds strange to me as well. Is your physician an oncologist? I can’t imagine an oncologist saying that. You need to know what type of cancer you have so you can start treatment for it immediately. How did this doctor know you had cancer? Did the doctor even mention MM to you?
I totally agree with Michelle Hamilton; you need to see an oncologist and find out what type of cancer you have. If you don’t know any other doctors,
perhaps your primary physician may be able to recommend someone else you can see.

SueAdams, I agree! I don’t know about a physician who would ever say you have cancer but they couldn’t find it. You definitely need to get all the test results that doctor did and see someone else. Hopefully you have a Primary Care Physician who can recommend someone else to see. Do this this week.
In the meantime, don’t take this doctors word as 100% correct.
You need a lot more information.

Oh my stars...please do not "wait and see" If you can..go to another doctor..demand a PET scan if you can. That shows hot spots where cancer is. I pray you find where it is and get treated. I had to have several tests..MRI..CT and PET scan before they knew what I had. They type of cancer I have did not show on regular blood tests too by the way.
