Feeling Uneasy
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

So I've been very sick the last few days. Either the world is spinning or I just feel uneasy. Smell is another thing. Everything smell weird. Meat taste so nasty I gave up trying and things I do eat have a tin taste or sour taste.
I'm wondering if I stop some of the teatment maybe that will help. I can't do the next 4 months like this.

Ma’am, yes you can do it. Try ceramic fork and spoon and knife. These utensils will help keep “metallic taste” from other foods. Experiment with foods. I found spicy Indian food to be better. Had never tried it before. Just keep hanging tough. Taste of food will get better with time. Good luck

I forgot something very important. I blamed the STC for recovery problems. Not correct. When they “killed” off bad mutated cells for STC, the medications destroyed good stomach bacteria. I was very nauseated, so the doctors gave me anti-nausea drugs. No help. Not to be nasty and personal. Had to go to bathroom in a rush. Had to give doctors a lab sample. I had C Diff stomach infection. Bad. Very bad. Once diagnosed, I received “ horse pill” antibiotics. Worked after about three weeks. Bad infection. Please ask doctors to test lab sample. Missed this suggestion in first post Sorry. Please check this out. Does anyone else have experience with C Diff stomach infection. You will never forget. Tom Everett

Talk to your doctor. Do not just stop your meds. One May be causing it.

ColleenDonnelly, I am so sorry you are having all these problems. Keep bugging the doctors , especially your MM specialists, they are most probably the ones who can help you best and certainly must have come across this before.
Luv,
Gail❣️

Keep questioning until you get the answers you need. Low BP will make you dizzy, at least it does that to me. I tend to run low naturally. Hang in there! We’re all rooting for you!! 💕
