Hi: Annecares: I am on Medicare with a supplement thru USAA and a drug supplement thru Aetna. I did not pay anything out of pocket for the doctors but with Aetna drug insurance I paid thru the nose. I changed my prescription insurance to WellCare this year and hope it will be better.I was paying $116.00 for a tiny bottle of eye drops. I hope that WellCare picks up the slack. If your husband is a veteran USAA is wonderful.

We have Aetna Medicare. No issues as of yet.

I have Aetna HMO/PPO through my husband work family plan (not Medicare). I've never had a problem with them. Always covered everything through HMO cause almost all my doctors are under Aetna, as long as we pay our co-pay for every visit. Using out of network doctor, I would need to pay a yearly deductible first and then co-pay for every visit. I don't know how Aetna Medicare is now, but my dad had it 5 years ago and it was similar to my coverage.

Yes Previously had MVP. Very pleased with that. My former employer changed the retiree insurance to Aetna. So far only copays when we see doctor ($15) and same even if we are out of network. So far better than MVP was.
