KU Medical Center
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Are there any members of this group that are or have been treated at University of Kansas Medical Center or Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City? I would just like to compare experiences and connect with those nearby.

Well, I checked with my son. Apparently his friend had his SCT done at Shawnee Mission and spoke very highly of them. He just said don't go to Olathe Medical!!!!

I was treated at the University of Kansas Cancer Center, and of course the KU Med Center. Dr. Abdullah has been there the entire time except when I had my two transplants, they were back to back. Dr Gangulee guided us through that.
experience. We had a lot of support and everyone was more than helpful.

Thanks very much. I have problems with trust. I knew that KUMC was supposed to be very good(as well as St Luke's) but I needed to hear it from people who can testify from their own experience good or bad. I do not know if I mentioned it but I am being treated by KUMC for SMM and AL Amyloidosis with Daratumumab +Dexamethasone. God bless you Scabby1957. You are in my prayers!!!!
