Jesusismyboss, Hi, I just wanted to put my two cents in, for what it is worth, about SCT’s. Most doctors are leaning toward doing an early SCT. The reason behind this is: Your first remission is the deepest and the longest and since SCT’s give you a chance at the longest and deepest remission they want to do it for your first remission. Have a blessed night and may God watch over you and your family, and help make this important decision. Love, Marcia

I am on Darzelex 3 infusions so far. Numbers were dropping, side effect nothing. Flying for a day or 2 from Dex.

In my situation my body retains fluid and is leaking into my tissue. The doctors are not sure if it is considered systemic capillary leak syndrome or if it is Amyloidosis. My body has no reaction to valcade. I am not generally a good sleeper so I don’t know that my insomnia is necessarily from the dexamethazone. But my body is rejecting the the revlimid. Within 24 hours of taking the first pill, my blood pressure plummeted, I passed out for a few seconds, I had to go to the ER. They pumped me with iv fluids, some fluid polled in my lung. I spent 9 days in the hospital. I was home. Six days later, I took my second revlimid pill, same reaction. This time spent 11 days in the same hospital. This time the fluid filled in and around my lungs impeding my breathing. Altogether they had to extract almost 2 liters of fluid to give me relief. I transferred to a cancer hospital when it was safe and am awaiting testing for Amyloidosis.
Revlimid is not agreeable for my system.

I luckily have had no side effects from any of them other than insomnia from the steroids for a day or 2.
