I found tips online to help with fatigue. Light regular exercise was one. So I just walked my dog. Have a great day.
I was taken off ninlaro 2 yrs ago. This week I had my first M spike since transplant (2015). Is it likely that I will be put back on ninlaro?
That’s a good question for your doctor. You have to get control of your myeloma so there’s going to be an answer for sure. Best of wishes you get in remission again soon!
Just got my second set of labs back after my SCT. The first (4 months after it) showed a monoclonal protein in the gamma region. My doc reminded me that this disease is never gone, it comes back. I just started back with dara and he assured me it wasn’t a false positive with no additional testing done. He reminded me my remission would be short b/c I’m high risk. Well, it didn’t show in my new labs. Still no M spike. I am so happy the relapse hasn’t started yet. I didn’t realize how worried I… read more
Merri Don’t worry about the results because it’s not gonna change anything and the dr. will find a way to fix them and you have more important things to worry about so don’t waste all that energy… read more
Definitely make a call to the doctor. It’s easy to misdiagnose yourself. You might be due for a scan.

Oh I forgot one supplement: Immunocal, a glutathione precursor. I take 2 packets a day in pomegranate juice. Ok I think that’s it. 😅
Wow that’s awfully complicated just ask a question and see what answers you get and just play on this site and you will figure it out over time.
Multiple myeloma for the last 9 years and have never been as tired as I have been for the last two weeks!
I responded to an previous comment about how sugar brought on fatigue
I have Stage 1 multiple myeloma. I started treatment in January because of proteins in my urine. I am on Velcade, Revlimid and dexamethasone. I am on my 4th cycle. My understanding is that Revlimid will suppress stem cell production. So if down the road I may want a stem cell transplant my maintenance program would be the Velcade. I think the Revlimid might be a better option to for remission. I am wondering what others have found with your treatments.
It is my understanding that remission is based on lab results and how many MM cells are found in your bone marrow biopsy (BMB). I had two BMBs before I was deemed "in remission" six months after my… read more
