I’m also eating high protein but I’ve now put on 10 pounds in three months! I was a perfect weight before so today I downloaded a free for 7 days micro calorie counter - for all nutrients! What a shock when I saw how many calories I’m consuming. No wonder so just a word of caution.
In addition to the above suggestions, I’m drinking a 20 oz bottle of clear Isopure protein water, 60 calories and helps with fluids and light electrolytes. My husband’s doctor suggested we try protein shakes so we’re using Orgain, organic and pretty clean one. But it’s 160 calories. I’m also avoiding caffeine, so chocolate contains it. Also using seeds such as sunflower, pumpkin and Edamame for snacks. I order them off Amazon.
Happy eating and I pray it goes well with you! ✝️🙏🛐

Great that you're already staying active and focusing on protein-rich foods! Since fish isn't an option, there are still plenty of other nutrient-dense, high-protein foods to help boost your levels.
Here are some good options to consider adding:
- Nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews)
- Nut butters (peanut butter, almond butter)

Oh I'm trying to GAIN weight LOL! I've lost 16 pounds. The nutritionist wants me to consume 2000 calories & 87 gr of protein. UGH!
Thank you! I'm in PT but just started so I'll ask
Are you doing weight bearing exercises? If therapist/ dr allow, try these. They are good for putting on muscle. Start small then increase.
