I got a biopsy of the fat on my stomach to rule out Amyloidosis. It was a easy procedure.

Yes, the proteins can build up and cause damage.

I’m not sure what’s causing it. I would probably like you said have to get an electrocardiogram to see the proteins for that or a heart MRI from what I’m reading so we’ll see what my primary says next week. I’m sure they’ll give me a referral to a cardiologist.

Stephanie,
If you have this, it can be scary stuff. I had a heart attack, and during the actual heart attack, I was very peaceful. I felt if God decided it was my time, then okay, but it wasn’t. That was 2021. The good news is, there is treatment for it.
