Members discussed whether sexual activity is possible while on Tecvayli, with the general takeaway being that yes, it can be, especially during maintenance when the disease is more controlled and medications are reduced. Several members shared that safe sex practices, including using condoms, are important to protect partners from bodily fluids during treatment. A recurring theme was the emotional weight of the journey, with one member openly sharing how difficult it is to navigate multiple myeloma without a support system, reminding the community that connection matters beyond just intimacy.

Leslie. All chemotherapy has black box warnings. Revlimid has saved so many lives. It actually works against myeloma. Before Revlimid, myeloma patients usually died within 3 years. We don't like taking it, but its better than the alternative. Anyone of childbearing age should use protection with many drugs. We all have to do the pharmacist survey each month.

Nick, I believe you're feeling better. The return of a little primal lust is a positive sign, and I ain't even a doctor.

I take the survey on the REMS companion app. At 70 I sincerely doubt many women of childbearing age are looking to get busy with me. However, dreaming is a good source of entertainment!

All kidding aside, I'm dealing with our situation on my own, it makes it a more difficult journey. I wish I had someone with me, and not because of intimate relations. Those of you with a strong inner circle support team are in a very good place.

I've had this discussion with my oncogolist. I'm on Talvey and the answer to sex is yes but needs to be safe sex (1-2 condoms). Because of bodily fluids protection is more for my partner than me.

Unfortunately, all the Sports Illustrated swimsuit models turned me down. Shocking! They don't know what they were missing.
