I am down to Revilimid of 10mg 2 weeks on and 1 week off. I need to do lab work before I refill. If I do labs the same day I take Revlimid my blood counts will be low some possibly out of low range. If I wait until the next day when I am not taking Revlimid I will be higher and all numbers in the normal range. If I wait another day, numbers will increase even more.

@A MyMyelomaTeam Member. Hey Rick I convinced my oncologist to go to 5 mg and my numbers got better and I felt better. Everyone is different but if you are in remission then see if your doctor will lower your dose. Best of luck! Stay strong 💪
Donna, unfortunately I have to take labs before I start my next cycle and it takes about a week for them to come back on time and my caregivers send the information to the special pharmacy & they get delivered. By waiting 1 day I barely make it on time. Since I am on a 3 week cycle the date varies every time.
I always do what my doctors tells me. I take it for 3 weeks for maximum myeloma cell control. Then off 1 week to let my bone marrow recover. It's worked for 9 years.
You should get your labs the first day of your cycle. Which should be the same day each month. Mine is every 28 days. For example, I get my labs each month after I have been off Pomalyst for a week.
@A MyMyelomaTeam Member Meg, oh no, I just meant I’d say a prayer. I hopefully have a good 20 years left! Thanks for your concern. Have a wonderful week!
