His doctor needs to see it . I hope it's not shingles.
Sheryl,
Make sure it is not shingles. Joe has had two bouts of shingles in the 5
years he has been on chemo treatments for multiple myeloma. The last case
was severe and he still has residual neuropathic pain in areas of
breakouts. It is routine for MM cancer patients to take twice daily
Acyclovir, (for shingles prevention) and despite that plus the history of
shingles Vax being done, he got it. Had to miss chemo treatments 3 weeks
until the lesions crusted over.
Good luck. Hope it is just poison ivy or something simple
Sharon

Talk to your doctor. The may reduce the dose or give you something to relieve the rash.

Can a rash on the upper body be caused by DRVD treatment?
Yes, rashes can definitely be a side effect of DRVD treatment. This regimen typically includes drugs like dexamethasone, Revlimid (lenalidomide), Velcade (bortezomib), and Darzalex (daratumumab), and several of these can cause skin reactions.
