I think I spent my life slightly dehydrated all the time. When dehydrated the body releases a hormone vasopressin.

Absolutely tea coffee chocolate so many drinks are diuretics annd have caffeine and we need to drink so much more water if we drink them.

It's recommended that men drink 13 cups (about 3 liters) of water each day. Women are recommended to drink 9 cups (just over 2 liters) of water each day.
