It targets CD19, CD20 and CD22. I’m curious how many people know what Clusters of Differentiation (CD’s) they have and if these CD’s are what most people have? I have CD3, CD20, CD28, CD38, CD45, and CD138 (10%). I don’t think this would work for me, but that seems to be the norm for me.

Hello Pbaldini,
I don’t think it’s unreasonable to envision in the near future cocktails of these Car-T therapies containing 3 or more target sites, overlapping each other so the majority of MM patients are covered for common mutations, along with rarer ones.
I think this triple threat Car-T therapy approach has real potential to knock MM back into remission for a lot of folks.
I do have CD 20, but CD138 is my big one. My Hematologist/Oncologist says there isn’t a drug yet that targets it.

There has to be a major treatment benefit when knocking down multiple lines of mutated cells, even tho others remain. Maybe those non-targeted remaining cells can then be handled with more conventional therapies.
