Robert, yes the SCig replaces the IVig. The big issue is doing it at home and on your schedule. More frequent but smaller doses avoids hills and valleys in treatments.

I have been receiving an IV infusion of IVIG monthly for almost a year after undergoing CAR T therapy with no negative side effects. It has significantly boosted my immunity and I’ve only contracted a few minor colds/viruses over the past year while traveling extensively and living a good life. I have not had the SCig treatment. Best wishes for a rapid and full recovery.

My immune system is down also. My IgA is low at 13 mg/dl, my IgM is less than 20 mg/dl, and my IgG is low at less than 300 mg/dl. Normal IgG is between (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators) mg/dl. I get IVIG infusions every three weeks to bring up my IgG. Is the SCig to replace the IVIG?

I was doing under the skin human immunoglobulin treatments once per week and the only thing I found was it increased my fatigue and nausea. It took my wife a while to get to where she felt comfortable doing it because it’s a bit intimidating but overall it wasn’t really that big a deal.

You will need to look at your immunoglobin levels. My IgG was 212. Which is very low. That's what they go by. Plus having repeated infections. I had bronchitis a couple of times then Covid.
