I was on Chemo for over a year, I had a Stem Cell Transplant after. My immune system is actually pretty good. I had to get 18 shots to replace everything I lost since I was an infant. I walk about 6 miles a day and eat as Clean as I can. I'm not in remission but my numbers are pretty good. I never got sick from the Chemo accept for two days during the Transplant. I feel pretty good every day. I am pretty lucky I guess

Many of the Maintenance Meds, especially DarzFasPro and other mAb types, will continuously deplete Natural Killer Cells. Janssen, the maker of DarzFasPro, conducted a Case Study where they identified this to be true.

This can be dangerous, leaving us no Innate Immune System and badly beaten down IgG levels - both being very immune compromised and venerable to serious infections.

It can easily take a year for Natural Killer Cells to recover, once MM Meds are Stopped.

When I was taking DarzFasPro in 2021/2022, my IgG dropped to 300. Now, a year after being Off All MM Meds for my Bone Lesion in 2023, my IgG has recovered to 630 - on it's own, without any IgIVs - entirely aided by my Diet, Supplements and Exercise.

I never explained why I would not take the anti-viral med when taking Ninlaro. One of the side effects of the anti-viral is damage to the kidneys. Many MM patients get damage to the kidneys, some die from it. I am about to be 89 and my kidneys are fine and I want to do everything I can to keep them healthy.

caveat...I know the Dr office had to fight with the Ins company to make it happen and I was only approved for 12 treatments so far.

Hi Herb - the 983 is a safe and good IgG but unfortunately it’s simply from the IgIVs that you’re getting monthly. They do help you defend against general infections but they don’t last ( therefore the need for monthly IVs) and they never add to your own IgG antibodies.

IgG is the learnt antibodies from illnesses during a lifetime. They’re completely wiped out by the SCT. Fortunately the IgG IVs are from a collection of many (maybe hundreds or thousands), so they do provide a wide variety of temporary antibodies.

Get your Natural Killer Cells tested to see how your Innate Immune System is doing. This can eventually recover once you’re not taking certain Meds. It could take a year or more
