@A MyMyelomaTeam Member YES!!! I have been experiencing left sided abdominal pain for over a year!! I’ve had MRIs, X-rays and an endoscopy and NOTHING! I really am not making it up, I have better things to do with my time. This morning it is especially painful, which is why I’m responding to your inquiry so emphatically. It’s so frustrating to have pain for over a year and have no answers for why. My acupuncturist does some extra treatment for the area for me, and it seems to help it subside temporarily but it always seems to come back. I hope you have better luck than me ♥️
My Darzalex infusions cause my painful stomach. Painful to touch. I wear loose clothing and just live with it. Not that bad. Hope you get an answer.
@A MyMyelomaTeam Member I responded earlier to your question about abdominal pain because I have been suffering from the same pain. My pain is just under the right bottom rib, they’ve had me get an ultrasound, MRI and EGD - everything came up that there was nothing wrong, but the pain persisted. Well, I began having back pain so I was sent to an orthopedist who ordered x-rays and when he found disc degeneration he then ordered an MRI of my thoracic spine - and there it was! I have a good sized mass in my spine which is compressing my spine. It correlates to the bottom right right rib. So after all of that testing I finally have an answer for my abdominal rib pain - it was my spine all along. I recommend you continue to seek answers, you know your body and you know when something isn’t right. Persist to find someone who will listen to you.
