I've been on pomalyst for 2 1/2 years. It stopped working for me. I will be having the car t-cell therapy (carvykti) at the end of this month. Praying 🙏 it works for you. Stay positive and strong.

Yes, I have received both, together, during summer of 2022.

The myeloma did not respond to this treatment, so, we went on to another treatment. Didn't respond to that either.

That's when the DR said to me, Hospice or Clinical trial.

I gave him another option. 👈
CAR T cell therapy. 👈
After a silent pause, he agreed, laying out the process.
And on March 27, 2023, I received my bioengineered battle troop TCells and the fight was on! 💥

Are you eligible for a CAR T Cell procedure?
Preferably CARVYKTI.
Longer response from what I've read. I was in remission 18 months. That's pretty good.
No chemo for 18 months is a relief. Only IVIG monthly infusions.

I have been on pomalyst and Dara faspro and ivig since Nov 2023. I have been in remission since June 2023. Some side effects such as fatigue, body aches, shortness of breath some nausea and facial flushing
Most have subsided except for the fatigue. Not sure but think the pomalyst is the main culprit but they seem to have the same side effects.
