It's not uncommon for individuals diagnosed with multiple myeloma to have a high percentage of abnormal plasma cells in their bone marrow. In the context provided, it mentions that doctors will diagnose multiple myeloma if tests show that a person has 60 percent or more of the cells in the bone marrow as abnormal plasma cells. It's important to have open discussions with your healthcare provider about your specific condition and treatment options.
