I should point out that my dermatologist said I had perniosis previously which usually resolves itself as the weather warms (or I go to FL). Not sure if this is that or is a newer thing. Yes, I have extremely painful burning neurophathy primarily in both hands, my feet and ankles more numbness than pain. At times the left leg swells and hurts. The pain/steroids prescribed for me are Gabapentin, Methadone, Dexamethasone, Morphine and Tylenol. I've reached the tolerable limit on these for pain management. Not 100% but it eases daily life a bit.
