Cut it short, you will be unhappy if you let it fall out a little at a time.

My caregiver bought flavored drops to add to ice chips and made a huge difference in being able to taste something during this long process.

My hair fell out on day 8 after SCT and I had the nurses cut the hair that day. Woke up with hair on my pillow

My nurse shaved my head.

I shaved my head a few days after the chemo for the transplant. It’s nice not to find clumps on your pillow, etc. It’s not bad with no hair! Quick showers, haha.
